## HS Code Nedir?
1988 Yılında [World Customs Organization (WCO)](http://www.wcoomd.org/) tarafından üye ülkelerin ([184](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Member_states_of_the_World_Customs_Organization)),
\- gümrük regülasyonlarını belirlemek,
\- kotalarını kontrol etmek
\- istatistiksel raporlamalarını yapmalarını sağlamak
amacıyla, gümrük işlemlerinde kullanılmak üzere oluşturulan bir kod listesidir.
Kod sisteminin yönetimi WCO: World Customs Organization ‘dadır ve her 5 yılda bir kod seti güncellenmektedir.
## Kod yapısı
Orjinali 6 hanelidir.
\-- 21 Bölüm (Section) ve 96 Fasıldan (Chapter) oluşur
\-- -- 1.244 Ana başlık ve 5.224 alt başlık
Ülkeler 6 haneden sonrasına ekleme yapmakta özgürdürler
\-- ABD 10 haneli kod sistemini kullanmaktadır ([HTS Code](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harmonized_Tariff_Schedule_of_the_United_States)) (Katılım 05.11.1970)
\-- Türkiye 12 haneli kod sistemi kullanmaktadır (Katılım 06.06.1951)
