## Kanban Kartı Nedir?
Visual (Kan) - Card (Ban)
Kanban, Japon kökenli bir yönetim sistemidir ve "görsel yönetim" konseptini kullanarak iş süreçlerini optimize etmeye yardımcı olur.
Tedarik Zinciri ‘nde ise Kanban Kartı Taichi Ohno tarafından 1940 ‘lı yıllarda kullanıma sunulmuştur. Toyota Üretim Sistemi 'ndeki (TPS) stok yönetiminin belkemiği haline gelen, yazılıma ihtiyaç duymayan, şeffaf ve verimli bir görsel kart sistemi olan Kanban Kartı, kendini sürekli geliştirerek farklı alanlarda da kullanılmaktadır.
Uzun yıllar diğer üreticiler tarafından algılanamayan kalan bu sistem, Toyota ‘nın detaylarını ve faydalarını açıklamasının ardından herkesin dikkatini çekti.
