### SIC Kodu Nedir?
Farklı endüstrilerdeki ekonomik aktiviteleri takip altına almak amacı ile, 1937 yılında ABD tarafından oluşturulan 4 haneli bir sistemdir.
Kuzey Amerika Ticareti ‘nin paydaşları olan ABD Kanada ve Meksika, limitlerinden dolayı bu sistemi 1997 yılında kendileri için yenileyip 6 haneli NAICS (North American Insdustry Classification System) ile değiştirmişlerdir.
### SIC Kod yapısı
* Hiyeraşik bir yapıya sahiptir
* İlk 2 hane 10 ana sektörü belirtir. 3 ve 4 nolu haneler alt grupları belirtir
